One of the things I imagined doing when I got a studio space outside my home was welcoming the community in; getting to know them, connecting with them, and of course, taking beautiful photographs of them. I recently created a course called “Mamarazzi.” It’s a course on how to take better photos of your kids using your camera phone. While I was filling up slots for it, I had several people ask about if I had plans on teaching a DSLR course. Initially, I said no. There are tons of free resources online for that. Then, during the class, one of the moms said she had a DSLR and wanted to learn how to use it and recommended I do a class on it. I suppose it took hearing it from a fellow mother, in person to hear their needs. They’re not looking to become professional photographers, they’re looking to take beautiful family pictures in their every day lives.
With that, I present you with “Mamarazzi: Beginner DSLR” by Jen Shannon Portrait. No, you don’t have to be a mother. I have two classes scheduled to sign up for. There are 5 slots each. These are a great gift for Christmas or would be a great class to get in before Christmas so you can take great pictures of your family for your Christmas cards. Dates and times are below.
Please note that a camera body, lens, and memory card are requirements to take this course.
