Happy Friday Internet! It’s time for another installment of “Ask Me Anything Friday.” This week I tackle the question, “Do you visit my wedding location/venue before the wedding?”
To answer simply, no, HOWEVER in special circumstances, as long as you book your wedding with me, I am happy to do that. Typically on a wedding day, if I haven’t shot at your venue before, I arrive very early to scope things out and get a feel for everything so I know where I want to shoot. Sometimes I show up 30 minutes early, sometimes 15-20. It really depends on the venue and how large or small it is. For example, a location such as the Sanchez House or River House in St. Augustine (both of which I have shot at) are small enough that only 15-20 minutes is necessary, however a place like the Casa Monica or Epping Forrest (both of which I have shot at) might need a little more time to cover more ground.
I hope this helps to answer your question. Have a beautiful Friday!
