Thanksgiving is truly my favorite holiday. I mean, of course, Christmas is a favorite too, but Thanksgiving is really my favorite. I love cooking for the people I love and getting to sit down around the table to eat. Last year, I was sick and 34 weeks pregnant, but tradition was a must and I NEEDED to continue our tradition. This year, Carly is here and she’s 10 months old. I can’t even believe it! She’s grown up so fast already. You really never realize just how fast life goes until you have a child. Anyway, I’ve seen everyone doing the 30 days of Thankfulness thing on Facebook but I just haven’t had the time… So, for now, I’ll leave you with a few things I’m thankful for. First, I’m thankful for God and how he bridged the gap by sending Jesus to pay the cost of my sins. I’m also thankful for my husband, Carly, my parents, siblings, and all of the rest of my family. I’m thankful for my amazing friends, job, and talents. I’m thankful for my health and the health of everyone I love. I’m thankful that I have a roof over my head, a car to drive, food to eat, and clothes on my back. I’m thankful to live in a country protected by a strong military and especially thankful to the members of our military who selflessly fight for me to be able to live freely. I’m thankful for my dogs and their ability to teach me what unconditional love really is. Yes, internet, I am also thankful for my iPhone… Seriously… a bad addiction…. Anyway, happy Thanksgiving! Be sure to tell the people you love how much you love them and are thankful for them. XOXO
And because every blog post is better with a picture, here are some pictures of Carly in the dress I made her for Thanksgiving.
