Ok, so I know I’ve been away from my blog for a little while, but I promise to come back and do more. It’s been a busy week. So, to update everyone on what’s to come. I have some amazing photos from the Jacksonville Air Show at NAS Jax that I will be posting. That will be a several part blog post between the Blue Angels, Fat Albert, the Red Devils, the Rhino, etc. So many good ones. I also have some from the Spooktacular at the Jacksonville Zoo from last Saturday night that was super fun. I think that’s it.. I really don’t remember. I have so much to catch up on.
On to Halloween of 2010. No. The dogs didn’t dress up this year. All of their costumes are still up north in a box in the garage of our old house. Luckily the rest of our stuff will be coming via my husband, a U-Haul, and our SUV right before Thanksgiving. So that means I don’t have any cute dog pictures this year, but I did find the time to carve two pumpkins. My mom’s birthday is on Halloween so I carved a pretty pumpkin for her and then got tired and did a quick “Nightmare Before Christmas” pumpkin on the other one. I cooked a yummy Guinness pot roast with sweet potato mash and roasted butternut squash. It was super delicious. For dessert, I got a carrot bar from Publix and my mom brought a small chocolate fudge cake from Publix. We had a few trick-or-treaters come by but it was a nice, homey feeling Thanksgiving! AND I got to spend it with my mom! Enjoy the pumpkin photos.
