This past summer, I wanted to try out some different lighting techniques I had learned. I asked Alia Acala, who is a local model I’ve worked with at the bridal shows, if she would be interested in sitting for some portraits for me to test my lighting with. These were my favorites. Hair and Makeup: Kristine Marie
This year is my first year entering photo competitions and working towards my accreditation towards being awarded status as a Portrait Master. The Portrait Masters started this past fall, and while it’s very early on in the process (it will take several years), I plan to work diligently to achieve this goal. I’m very proud that the below three images…
Earlier this year, Ana came in for her senior portraits before graduation. We focused on stylish, classy, and somewhat GQ style photos for her session. Here are my favorites. Hair and Makeup: Jen Shannon
Finally getting around to blogging some more. Here are some of my favorite head shots from Gwyn Ice’s session for her realty business.
I met Jenna through Nicole Kaleel, the hairstylist that does my hair. Jenna is a Jacksonville based Family Law Attorney, focused exclusively on family law. I went to her office, located in Mandarin, and photographed her in her office. These are my favorites. Also feel free to stop by the website we designed together by clicking here.
I love a good brand makeover! Here’s Stephanie Sanger Robinson’s head shots for her business!
Earlier this year, I got to photograph the team photo for Makeup by Paulina Perez. Paulina wanted an editorial style group photo, similar to America’s Next Top Model group photos. Here is the result! Happy Friday!
I photographed Suzy earlier this year. Not only is she an incredible woman with a great story, she’s a colon cancer survivor. She came with royal blue, the color for colon cancer, and has now happily celebrated her one year anniversary of being cancer free. Here are some of my favorites from her session.
Still playing catch up over here. I suppose that’s a good problem to have because it means I’ve been actually shooting sessions so I haven’t had time to blog. Today, I present to you the gorgeous Jill. She came in for an empowering white sheet session. These are my favs!
My bunk mate, Francesca Cooper of The Eventful Gals, has a beautiful aunt named Sissy who came in and had her portraits done. I had a great time hearing so many hysterical stories and creating these portraits for her. Here are her favorites (mine too!) Hair and Makeup: Jen Shannon
No longer being a wedding photographer means I’m not published as often as I used to be. I was thrilled when Florida State Homes chose to feature my business on their blog. In the article, I talk about the importance of leaving a legacy, especially as a woman. Head over to Florida State Homes to check out and read the…
I met Tori several years ago when a mutual friend of ours, Laurie, opened her online boutique, Zoey’s Collections, and Tori began helping and modeling for her catalogue. Tori is an incredible singer, guitar player, and songwriter, who recently left and moved to Nashville to pursue her dreams in country music. She came to me for portraits. There were so…
Earlier this year I had the opportunity to photograph head shots for Brush Salon, located off of 210 in St. John’s Florida. I know I’m behind the times on blogging, but here are their final head shots!
Ro’s portraits are probably my favorites in my portfolio. As women get older, they notice signs of aging and don’t want to be photographed, but I think it is the opposite. There is so much wisdom, beauty, elegance, and class in older women that I wish more would choose to show! Here are my favorites from her session.
In my line of work, I connect with the most incredible women. Among the incredible, sometimes you really connect with someone you think you were somehow connected to in another life (metaphorically). Shelly was this person for me. I felt an instant emotional connection to her. I felt her love for her beautiful daughters right away. You could see in…
I was very excited to have Caroline in the studio for her senior portraits. Caroline is a high school senior who just graduated and is off to her next endeavor; college! I remember graduating from high school and feeling like it was such a sense of accomplishment and wondering what the next chapter of my life held for me. It’s…
These past two months feel like a whirlwind. I know I’m pretty MIA on my blog anyway, which I wish I was better about, but between business and my three kids, it’s difficult to find the time to tend to my blog. I remember a time when I blogged every day! I don’t know how I did that. I digress…….
